Methodology

How we review products

A published, repeatable process so every review on this site can be compared against the same standard.

1. We start from primary sources

Every review begins with material published by the manufacturer or the retailer: the label or supplement facts panel, the official product page, the checkout terms, the shipping policy and the refund policy. Where a third-party source is used, it is named in the text so you can follow it yourself.

2. We document the offer, not just the product

Online wellness products are sold as offers, and the offer often matters as much as the formula. We record the price per unit at each bundle size, what shipping costs, whether the purchase recurs, what bonuses are included and whether those bonuses affect refund eligibility.

3. We report the guarantee accurately

We identify who honours the guarantee, how long the window runs, when the clock starts, what the refund covers and what the buyer has to do to claim it. Where the retailer's policy and the sales page differ, we say so.

4. We state limitations plainly

We do not test products in a laboratory, run clinical studies or measure health outcomes. We will say when evidence for an ingredient is limited, preliminary or based on studies that do not match the dose in the product.

5. We avoid medical claims

Reviews describe what a product is and what the manufacturer says about it. We do not assert that a product treats, cures, prevents or diagnoses any condition, and we flag sales copy that does.

6. We label opinions and experiences

Where customer experiences are referenced, they are identified as personal accounts and accompanied by a note that individual results vary. We never present a testimonial as a typical or expected outcome.

7. We disclose the commercial relationship

Affiliate links are marked and disclosed. Compensation is never tied to the conclusion of a review or to a product's position on a page. See the affiliate disclosure.

8. We date and revisit

Each review carries a last-updated date. When pricing, terms or formulation change, we update the page and move the date. Substantive corrections are noted in the text rather than edited away silently.

What would make us decline a product

  • No published ingredient list or materials specification.
  • No identifiable seller, address or support contact.
  • No accessible refund policy at the point of sale.
  • Marketing that claims to cure a disease or to replace prescribed treatment.
