Affiliate disclosure

The short version

This website contains affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may receive a commission from the merchant. You pay the same price either way — the commission comes out of the merchant's margin, not out of your pocket.

Where affiliate links appear

Affiliate links are used on product review pages and in some category listings. They are the buttons and links that send you to an official product or retailer page to complete a purchase. Links to our own pages, to policies, and to reference material are not affiliate links.

Who processes your order

We do not sell products and we do not handle payments. When you follow an affiliate link, checkout, payment, shipping, customer support and refunds are handled entirely by the merchant or its authorised retailer under their own terms and privacy policy. We never see your payment details.

How this affects our reviews

It does not change our conclusions. Products are assessed against the criteria published on our how we review page. Commission rates play no part in whether we cover a product, what we say about it, or where it sits on a page. Where we find something unclear, restrictive or poorly disclosed, we say so even when the page carries an affiliate link.

Regulatory note

This disclosure is provided in line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255), which requires clear and conspicuous disclosure of material connections between a publisher and a merchant.
