Find out who honors the guarantee
Many supplements sold online are processed by a third-party retailer rather than the brand itself. The retailer's own refund policy, not the sales page, is usually the document that governs your request. Locate the retailer's name on the checkout page and read their published policy before ordering.
Confirm what the refund covers
A guarantee may cover the product price only, excluding original shipping and any return shipping you pay. Bundled bonuses, digital guides and subscription add-ons may be treated separately. Confirm whether unopened bottles must be returned, and to what address.
Note the start date of the window
The refund clock usually starts on the purchase date, not the delivery date. If shipping takes two weeks, a 60-day window can be closer to 45 usable days.
Keep the paperwork you will need
Save the order confirmation email, the order number and the retailer's support contact. Requests submitted through a general contact form without an order number are the ones most likely to stall.
- Order number and purchase date
- The retailer's support email or ticket portal
- A screenshot of the guarantee text as published on the day you bought
- Tracking numbers for anything you return
Watch for automatic renewals
A guarantee on the first order tells you nothing about a recurring charge. If the offer includes a subscription, find the cancellation method and the notice period before the next billing date.
